US Antiques Roadshow scores first million-dollar appraisal

For the first time in 13 years of existence, the US television program "Antiques Roadshow" finally scored its first ever million-dollar appraisal.

The items appraised were four pieces of carved jade and celadon from the Chien Lung Dynasty, including a large bowl crafted for the Emperor.

"Antiques Roadshow" gives members of the public the chance to have some of their goods appraised by professional antique analysts and let them discover that some of the junk items in their attic actually have a value.
